Katharine Hepburn’s first Hollywood home in now on the market. The iconic Hollywood actress rented the Los Angeles, Calif., hacienda for around five years where she was believed to spend time with beau Leland Hayward.

Nestled in LA’s secluded Coldwater Canyon, the 5-bedroom, 5.5-bath home receives plenty of sunlight and offers lush, wooded views. It’s believed that the expansive garden was planted by horror-film star Boris Karloff who once owned the home.

Set on almost an acre of land, the nearly century-old, Mexican-style home features exposed-beam ceilings, whitewashed masonry walls, and red tile floors. Several indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a rustic eat-in kitchen, and a courtyard pizza oven are perfect for hosting a private gathering.

While the master suite surely looks different than when Hepburn lived there, it’s complete with a fireplace, French doors leading outside, and a luxurious bathroom. The California classic is listed for $7.4 million.
