Canon’s new ME20F-SH multi-purpose camera is an example of advanced technology in a surprisingly small package. The camera measures around 4 x 4.5 x 4.4 inches, is capable of capturing Full HD color video in near darkness, and has an ISO equivalent of over 4 million.

Canon’s high-end video cam is ultra compact, which means it would pair well with a drone for nighttime aerial shoots. It also has an EF mount for various lens integration possibilities.

With a 2.26-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor, Full HD 1080, support for HDMI output and 3G/HD-SDI, and the ability to see in the dark, it’s sure to make a hit among camera techies who can afford it.

Canon’s ME20F-SH retails for around $30,000 and will be available this December.
