Now the company by SH Group of Starwood Capital Group is opening a hotel in New York City. 1 Hotel Central Park is the second hotel for the brand and is located on the corner of 58th Street and Sixth Avenue, just a block from Central Park.
The new building features a three-story exterior green wall created from individually potted English Ivy plants. Guests will also enjoy uniquely shaped Brooklyn Glass terrariums in each room. All rooms are cleaned with naturally derived, eco-friendly cleaning solvents.
1 Hotel Manhattan has 229 guest rooms, including 22 suites and 1 Greenhouse Suite for VIP visitors. Eco-luxury amenities include energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, natural Keetsa hemp-blend mattresses, and Triple Clear Water filters in all sinks, showers, and taps.
At the new hotel, eco-consciousness meets modern luxury with electronic check-in, in-room Nexus tablets with pre-loaded magazines, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Access to Tesla electric vehicle rides, 24-hour room service, and free valet for electric vehicles are also available to guests.
