Jasper Morrison has created the “Superloon” floor lamp for lighting brand Flos. The new lamp was designed and inspired by the moon and has a flat disc lighting system capable of rotating 360 degrees for increased lighting and ease.

Superloon offers gentle, warm light rather than harsher yellow lights typically used in popular fixtures. Morrison’s lamp can even be altered for optimal temperature and intensity, which is adjusted through a built-in optical sensor.

The Superloon Flos lamp is both unique in structure and function. Its designer hopes it can be utilized for infinite lighting options while also offering a soothing light reminiscent of the moon.
