One of the major complaints about mobile devices is insufficient battery life. BlackBerry is looking to solve this problem and join the competitive market with the release of their BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition mobile device.
The smartphone comes with a “best-in-class” battery engineered to last up to 30 hours of mixed use. Constructed with a reinforced stainless steel frame, the phone also features a square high-resolution screen, touch-enabled keyboard, and curved corners.
BlackBerry Blend—the company’s desktop software—is included with the device and is capable of sending messaging and content from the phone to user’s personal computers and tablets.
Priced at $549, the BlackBerry Passport is equipped with a QuadCore 2.2 GHZ processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel OIS rear camera, and 32 GB of memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB.
For smartphone lovers who’ve missed a classic keyboard, this might be the solution.
