Simaudio has been busy. They’ve just revealed their Moon 780D DAC with network player. The new player is the latest piece of equipment to join the brand’s Moon Evolution Series.

The Canadian company’s new unit offers network connections that allow users to play both Digital-to-Analog Converter and streaming roles while providing high-quality sound distribution.

With a dual-mono, fully balanced schematic, the state-of-the-art player stands out among similar products. It also features upgradable circuitry and has the ability to decode almost every digital audio format including Direct Stream Digital (DSD).

The 780D also comes complete with Simaudio’s Moon intelligent Network Device (MiND). The MiND network player allows access to music-streaming services and DSD streaming over a home network.

Simaudio’s sleek new machine is crafted from aircraft-quality aluminum and promises revolutionary sound performance. It’s available from Simaudio for $15,000.
