Increased capacitance, larger heat sinks, and extra shielding help to provide 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and a frequency response from 10 Hz to 100 kHz.

Customers can opt for the stereo configuration or purchase a pair of monoblock amplifiers for an additional boost of sound. The Centaur II is available for $40,000 for the single stereo amplifier or $80,000 for the pair of mono amplifiers.

The Virgo III preamplifier is just as remarkable with ultra-fast power-up time and the ability to highlight a variety of musical genres and styles. Constellation’s new preamplifier features remote operation and a separate power supply. Selling for $30,000, the preamp is equipped with four balanced inputs and four standard RCA inputs.
