Gabriella Asztalos has developed a new chair with a completely unique look. Inspired by 19th-century style, the Wiener chair features sculpted, curved shapes and feminine lines. The designer likes to create pieces influenced by what she calls a “refined world.”

The chair and tea table of the Wiener Collection are crafted from lacquered black wood and Vienna straw to offer a look of bold, modern lightness. Asztalos’ chair specifically channels the 19th century with a style reminiscent of the era’s furniture made from glued and bent wooden slats.

The Weiner chair is the perfect blend of modern and classic, with a dash of curiosity that’s sure to be the focal point of any room.
