The 60,000-square-foot expansive property was completely redesigned and furnished by Paris-based designer Alberto Pinto’s company. The process took two-and-a-half years to complete, and pieces were brought in from all over the world.

Now, an auction has recently been held to sell the home’s elaborate décor, artwork and furnishings. It’s believed that items inside the home are worth upwards of $54 million. Previous auctions of over 40 chandeliers and 100 gold-plated tissue holders were held when the house was struggling to sell.

Style is essential when trying to market such a large estate, but with bathrooms decorated with semiprecious stones like amethyst, malachite, bronze, gold and silver, it doesn’t look like this luxury home is going to miss the mark. Millions of pounds worth of gold leaf can also be found as accents throughout.

The palatial estate was originally crafted as four separate family homes and now includes an industrial-sized catering kitchen, large swimming pool, underground parking and several elevators.

As if the hotel-sized home wasn’t grand enough, it’s perfectly located just a half-mile from Harrods and a short drive from Battersea’s heliport. The home also boasts expansive views of Hyde Park through 68 of its windows.

Although mega-mansions have struggled to sell in recent years, the estate just received a $437-million offer, which would make it nearly double the price of the UK’s second most expensive home. With every lush detail accounted for, including those luxurious Baldi bathtubs, some happy billionaire will be sure to make it their new home.
