As the CEO of rental and home sales site Zillow, Spencer Rascoff might be feeling some extra pressure to get a good price for his newly listed Madison Park home. The four-bedroom home was built in 1994 and has been rented for the past five years.
The 3,470-square-foot home recently underwent major renovations in the master bedroom, which Rascoff considers the most important room. Although super knowledgeable about the housing market, he followed his agent’s advice on the $25,000-master-bedroom renovation and other aspects of the listing process.
Interestingly, Rascoff has said the number-one indicator of a home’s value is its proximity to a Starbucks, and his $1.3-million home is only two blocks from the closest location.
