Iconic actor Jeff Bridges, also known as “the Dude,” has listed his Montecito, Calif., home for $29.5 million. The 9,500-square-foot house was built in 1988 and acquired by Bridges and his wife Susan in 1994.
The Tuscan-inspired estate is filled with custom touches including antique tiles from Italy and a stone fireplace mantel. Set on 19.5 acres, the Bridges raised their children at the unique property. With five bedrooms and five bathrooms, there was plenty of room for work and play.
The amazing property features guesthouses, a small vineyard, a greenhouse and a recording studio. The property also has several walking trails which lead to a nearby natural hot spring. With views of the Channel Islands and a recirculating creek flowing through the idyllic property, it can’t be easy for the family to move out.
The Bridges are relocating to a smaller home now that their daughters have grown up. The massive estate is a rarity for its location and is sure to bring in several interested bidders.
