The company known for its innovative video cameras has announced its latest product—the GoPro HERO4 Session. The new camera is the smallest GoPro yet and is 40 percent lighter than the previous model.
The HERO4 Session features a cube-shape design and is completely waterproof down to 33 feet without the need for a separate case. Only one button is used to control the camera that captures both photos and videos, but users can download the GoPro app for additional controls and settings.
The camera’s built-in battery keeps it shooting for two hours, and all recharging is done via a USB cable. New features include auto image rotation, 8-megapixel photos, a dual microphone system, built-in Wi-Fi, Protune, Auto Low Light, and 1080p60/720p100/1440p30 video recording capabilities. The new camera is available July 12 for $399.99.
