The Devialet Ingénierie Acoustique de France have developed “Phantom,” a fully patented well-rounded compact wireless speaker. After ten years of development, the speaker uses Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) intelligence to combine analog amplification with the power and compactness of digital amplification.

Phantom is capable of reproducing levels of sound waves below the lower limit of human audibility and is built around two hermetic woofers to remove distortion. The spherical Phantom is made of polycarbonate and aluminum allowing it to produce ultra dance sound without saturation impact. Listeners can control their device from Spark, an app that allows users to control the system from their computers, smartphones, and tablets. Phantom is currently available in Europe, but Devialet is preparing to ship the high-tech speaker to North America in September 2015.
