Phase One’s new XF Camera is a professional, high-end medium format camera that features a plethora of new tech features.
The new XF camera offers users a resolution up to 80 megapixels. The new Honeybee Autofocus Platform (HAP-1) is one of the biggest new features. The autofocus uses a new processor and high-resolution CMOS AF sensor, which includes a floating-point architecture and fully programmable interface. The whole system can be upgraded and expanded through software updates.
The Phase One XF’s body is also worth noting. It has a user interface that combines dials, keys, and a touchscreen to control the camera’s many functions. The system has two touchscreens in fact: there is a 1.6-inch on the grip and a 3.2-inch display on the back of the camera.
Phase One XF camera has a $49,000 price tag.
