Porsche is going into production withBlack Edition versions of the 911 Carrera and the Boxster.
The majority of the upgrades the cars are receiving are aesthetic, with the most prominent change being the new black paint job. The 911 will get new 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and Bose surround sound. The Boxster will get 20-inch Carrera Classic alloys and other add-ons like Sound Package Plus, climate control, and heated seats.
The 911 is still powered by a 3.4-liter flat six engine with 345 HP, while the Boxster is packing a 2.7-liter flat six engine with 261 HP.
The new Black Editions of the 911 Carrera and Boxster will also have a few features come standard that were optional previously. Sport Design steering wheel, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation are among the features that will come standard.

The cars are available now in Europe. There is no word yet on U.S. availability.
