Bentley confirmed at the 2015 Detroit International Auto Show that it plans to release a new SUV in 2016 called the Bentayga.

The brand says it will be the “the most advanced Bentley to date.” The vehicle will be based upon the EXP 9 F concept that made the auto show rounds nearly three years ago, thought the company says the EXP 9 F has been extensively redesigned to become the Bentayga.

Bentley is being very tight-lipped with information regarding the Bentayga. Many experts predict it will have plug-in hybrid and diesel engine options.

Bentley did recently show off the design process behind the interior on their website. From that information we can surmise that the interior will elegantly combine fine woods and leathers.

Information on Bentley’s new SUV is scarce. All they have released are almost-annoying cryptic images and a video hyping the vehicle (see below) none of which show the car off. The Bentley Bentayga is expected to be revealed at a car show later this year.
