The 2016 BMW M6 Competition Package takes a detour from adding outlandish racecar-like touches on the interior and exterior and instead focuses on the vehicle’s power, leaving the interior and exterior looking traditional by BMW standards (i.e. luxurious).

The vehicle’s power comes from a 4.4 liter V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo. It pumps out 600 HP and hits the 62 MPH mark from a standstill in an impressive 3.9 seconds. The car’s speed is electronically limited to 155 MPH.

The Competition Package exterior did receive some upgrades from the previous year, such as the 20-inch light alloy wheels and the new exhaust system with black chrome twin tailpipes.

On the inside you will find carbon fiber accents and leather bucket seats with an infotainment system controled by the latest version of BMW’s ConnectedDrive.

The 2016 BMW M6 Competition Package will be available starting in July.
