A Blade Helicopter Can Now Take You to Your Favorite NYC Airport in Five Minutes

Blade is a mobile app (and air transportation service) that now allows users to book helicopter trips to popular NYC airports.

Users can book six-seat choppers to take them to airports such as Newark Liberty International Airport, JFK, Teterboro Airport, and White Plains Airport (an airport popular with corporate jets). Users can get to JFK and Teterboro in just four minutes. It takes six minutes to fly to Newark Liberty and 12 minutes to get to White Plains Airport.

Prices for the service vary depending on the airport. Flights go for around $3,150 for all six seats on most flights. Travelers are only allowed to bring one small bag on board.

Blade has partnered with Liberty Helicopters who will do all the flying.
