A Chinese billionaire bankrolled a vacation to France for his 6,400 employees.
Tiens Group Company Chairman Li Jinyuan took his employees on vacation to France, with the only strings attached is they take part in a record-breaking human chain to cap off the vacation. The employees’ human chain spelled “Tiens’ dream is Nice in the Cote d’Azur” to celebrate the company’s 20-year partnership with France.
The group ended up booking up 140 Paris hotels. They then took a trip to Cote D’Azur. This time his employees stayed at four and five-star hotels in Cannes and Monaco, taking up 4,760 rooms. It took 147 buses to shuttle the tourists around France.
It is estimated the trip cost Jinyuan over $37 million.
