It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this unique Scottsdale, Ariz., “Boulder House” has been listed on the market for $4.2 million.
Boulder House features one-of-a-kind construction. It is inconspicuous as it is actually built into a group of large, 1.6 billon-year-old boulders that date back to the Precambrian era.
The home sits on nine acres of land and has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There is also plenty of space for entertaining guest: The “great room” can hold about 80 people and has a huge fireplace. The master bedroom comes with its own patio and master bathroom that is a huge walk-in shower-tub combo.
The Boulder House is on the National Register of Historic Places.
