News Corp founder Rupert Murdoch has listed his One Madison triplex for $72 million. Murdoch spent $57.25 million last year on four floors at the luxurious building, and they include the triplex.

The triplex has 6,850-square-feet of living space with five bedrooms. A terrace wraparounds the building, offering views of the NYC skyline. It has its own private elevator so the new owner can discreetly come and go.

Murdoch originally purchased the triplex while it was still under construction and hired architect Jose Ramirez to finish the job. Murdoch will be moving to the West Village, but he’ll be keeping the three-bedroom where he lived while the penthouse was under construction.

If the penthouse sells for the asking price, it will be Downtown’s most expensive sale to date.
