In Adams County, Was., 90 miles west of Spokane, there is a Cold War-era Titan Missile Base that cost $120 million to build in the 1960s. Recently, it was listed for sale for $1.25 million.

There is not a lot of typical real estate information in the listing, though this is not your typical estate, either. There is a three-story hemispherical shell of hardened concrete designed to withstand Soviet nuke attacks. There is also a propellant terminal, equipment terminal, antenna shaft and a few missile silos also on site.

Outside there is nothing but empty land and seclusion all around with no neighbors in sight or within earshot. The property is fenced off and there is also a garden on site.

The missile base is one of only six built in the United States so while it may look a bit shabby, it is an important piece of American history.
