The Lexus RX SUV has been completely redesigned for its 2016 iteration.
The new 2016 Lexus RX SUV will be incorporating Lexus’s signature spindle grille and L-shaped LED lights into its design. The sleek lines and curves of the RX will help set it apart from the SUV pack. The car is sitting on 18-inch wheels, with the option to upgrade 20-inch aluminum wheels.
The 2016 RX base model will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 300 HP and that is paired with an eight-speed automatic gear box. Buyers can also choose to go the hybrid route with the RX450h that is packing a 3.5-liter V6 and an electric motor, for a combined output of 300 horsepower.
The interior features trim that can be crafted from either wood or laser-cut aluminum. The vehicle’s infotainment system is controlled by a dash-mounted 12.3-inch touchscreen. Buyers can also opt for rear-seat entertainment packages that place 11.3-inch screens on the back of the front headrests so those riding in the backseat can enjoy some entertainment.
Pricing details are not yet available, though it is said that the vehicle could start around $45,000. Expect to see the 2016 Lexus RX SUV at dealerships at the end of the year.
