A beach house in Malibu is catching a lot of attention, and not just for its size or architecture. The home is offered for rent for a whopping $750,000 a month.

Kurt Rappaport, the owner of the mansion, expects a private renter will emerge. He bought the property in 2006 and went into renovation mode.

“I compare the making of this house to the filming of Titanic,” Rappaport said.  “We didn’t know how long it would take or how much it would cost, but we were certain it was going to be great.”

The main home on the grounds has 15,000 square feet of living space, with seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a theater room, game room, and a gym.

The six-acre estate has a 168-foot-long swimming pool that claims to be largest residential pool in the state. The grounds also features a guest house with two bedrooms, and a four-car garage.
