Garmin has recently introduced two new additions to its Virb line of action cameras, which are built for rugged conditions and specifically designed for capturing action shots.
The 12-megapixel Virb X shoots high-definition, wide-angle footage at 1080p30 and 12-megapixel photos at up to 10 frames per second. The higher-end Virb XE shoots footage at 1080p/60fps and 12-megapixel photos at up to 30 frames per second.
Both cameras have sensors that detect speed, gyroscope and accelerometer data, GPS, and more. The cameras can dive to 50 meters underwater without a case.
The Virb X costs $299.99. The Virb XE is slightly more expensive with a $399.99 price tag.
