Montblanc has issued a limited-edition fountain pen in connection with the annual Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award. The pen is appropriately called the Montblanc Patron of Art Luciano Pavarotti Limited Edition.

Luciano Pavarotti is an opera icon who wowed audiences worldwide. This new limited-edition fountain pen from Montblanc honors the tenor.

The fountain pen features an assortment of colors, including a black lacquered barrel with a white lacquer cap. Also available is a red lacquer with a floral pattern, in addition to a Hawaiian pattern. The colors reflect the singer’s style. The black and white represent the black and white tuxedo the singer wore on stage, while the floral and Hawaiian patterns represent the Hawaiian shirts the singer wore off the stage. In addition, the nib is made from solid gold.

The pen will be limited to just 4,810 examples.
