For the third consecutive year, Singapore’s Changi Airport was voted World’s Best Airport at the World Airport Awards.
The rankings were determined by 13.02 million surveys by people from 112 different countries. They rated things like arrivals, transfers, security, dining, shopping, and check-ins. No American airports cracked the top ten.
Changi Airport takes the number one spot thanks to such features as an Entertainment Deck with videogames, a movie theater, and a playground. The airport’s hub features mini green oases, bamboo, and gardens designed to relieve stress. Even if you have a layover you will not be stressed, as those with five hours or more of layover time can take a free two-hour tour of the city.
