A-list actress Jessica Chastain just purchased a New York City home with a history.

The Zero Dark Thirty actress acquired a $5.1 million on a New York City apartment that was once owned by renowned composer Leonard Bernstein. The building is also home to legendary basketball coach Phil Jackson.

The apartment has four bedrooms but it is the hand-carved mahogany doors, stained-glass windows, and five fireplaces that give the home its personality.

The home spent nearly a year on the market with an asking price of $5.5 million before Chastain purchased it at a slight discount.
