Bentley is carving its path to the future with the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept car that features the classic luxury of the brand along with state-of-the-art technology.
“This is not just a new sports car concept — but the potential Bentley sports car – a bold vision for a brand with a bold future,” Wolfgang Durheimer, chairman and CEO of Bentley, said.
Bentley uses 3D printing technology to create many of the exterior parts such as the signature Bentley matrix grill, exhausts, door handles, and side vents. The metallic green paint job looks like a nod to the classic Racing Green color.
The interior features sports seats covered in quilted Poltrona Frau leather. Cherry wood accents are also sprinkled throughout. The centerpiece of the interior is a 12-inch curved touchscreen console for the vehicle’s infotainment system.
Details on what was powering the car are still under wraps. However, Bentley officials have referred to the car as both a “sports car” and a “performance hybrid,” which likely means we will see a V-8 engine of some sort combined with electric motors under the hood.
The Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept is being referred to as the future sports car of Bentley, which means something very similar will likely enter full production under a different name in the near future.
