The new Apple MacBook has again reinvented itself with a thinner design, lighter weight, and fancy new colors like gold, space gray, and silver.
“Apple has reinvented the notebook with the new MacBook,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said. “It’s the thinnest and lightest mac ever. Every component of the MacBook reveals a new innovation. From its fanless design, ultra-thin retina display, and full-size keyboard that’s 34 percent thinner, to its all-new force touch trackpad, versatile USB-C port, and breakthrough terraced battery design, the new MacBook is the future of the notebook.”
The new MacBook is just 13.1mm thin and weighs only two pounds. Despite its light weight, it still has a 12-inch retina display and uses 30 percent less energy than existing MacBooks.
The MacBook’s battery delivers all-day power and can be recharged via the same USB-C port as the previous MacBooks. The MacBoook has Bluetooth 4.0 technology and Wi-Fi.
