Mario Tsai of ZZ Design Studio has created a unique shelving unit called Mountains.

The unit is inspired by landscape paintings from China, where artists would use simple lines to represent nature scenes, hence the minimalist lines of this piece of furniture.  The designer uses lines also to represent shelves and clouds. The shelf is not just art, it is also practical, with ample storage space and functional shelves.
