Samsung’s Galaxy S flagship phone series is looking to chip away at Apple’s lead in the mobile market with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge focus on larger screens and have metal frames with glass backs. The Edge’s screen is curved on the right and left.

Samsung Galaxy is no stranger to large screens. The Galaxy S5 had a 5.1-inch screen as do these new iterations of the Galaxy S. However, the S6 and S6 edge have pumped up the resolution with 577 pixels per inch on a HD AMOLED display with a slight curve.

The phones’ battery life is also quite impressive. They use fast-charge technology to rack up about four hours worth of battery life in just 10 minutes of charging time.

The phones will also feature a new processor, the octa-core Samsung Exynos, and will have 3 GB of ram. The phones will have three different storage options (32, 64, or 128GB). The rear camera will boast 16 MP while the front-facing camera will have 5 MP.

Buyers will be able to choose from several colors options: White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz (Galaxy S6 only) and Green Emerald (Galaxy S6 Edge only).

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are scheduled to launch on April 10.
