CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper recently sold his home in Quioque, NY, for nearly $3 million.

The property is located near the Westhampton Beach area at 20 St. George Place. It is located on the river and has access to a local bay.

“But you can’t get a big boat, which is kind of a blessing,” Enzo Morabito, the agent handling the property, said. “The cottage is open-spaced, but it keeps in line with a tradition. It’s traditional yet stylish. It’s an understated style that puts Ralph Lauren to shame.”

Copper originally listed the 3,800-square-foot home last July with an asking price set at $3,599,000. The most-recent asking price is $2,975,000.

The home was built in 1928 and was originally a hunting lodge. Cooper has been using the home as a rental property.

Cooper also owns the home next door. It is also on the market.
