Details about the 2016 Range Rover Evoque have leaked out ahead of its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The Evoque will be available in both a coupe and five-door model. Both versions will have LED headlights and a choice of two grilles, and will features some oversized air intakes. The car’s exterior comes finished in either silver, black, or grey.
“When Evoque debuted in 2011, it translated the LRX concept car’s radical design language to reality almost entirely unaltered. four years on, Evoque’s leading-edge design retains its wow factor and continues to turn heads,” phil simmons, exterior realisation director for Land Rover said. “Our carefully considered design evolution, both outside and in, ensures Evoque’s status as a ground-breaking automotive design is safeguarded for years to come.”
The interior of the vehicle also has a wide range of color options—13 to be exact. The interior is crafted from high-quality materials such as premium leather. Oxford leather covers the dash, door, and center console.
“The range rover Evoque first established and then dominated the luxury compact SUV sector generating worldwide acclaim and sales success. our challenge has been to evolve the Evoque design without diluting its distinctive character,” Gerry McGovern, land rover design director and chief creative officer, said.
Under the hood, drivers have two options: a low-emissions four-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium engines and a Si4 2.0 liter petrol motor. Working with the latter, the Evoque can reach top speeds of 135 MPH and go 0-62 MPH in just 7.6 seconds.
