The Build Your Dreams (BYD) Tang crossover, produced in China, is faster than a Cayenne and more fuel efficient than a Prius.

It gets its efficiency and power from a turbocharged 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that churns out 205 ponies, in addition to, two electric motors that each churn out 150 HP. This is enough power to propel the Tang from zero to 62 MPH in under five seconds.

A Tang with more power is also available: The Tang Ultimate Edition upgrades the engines to propel the car from 0-60 MPH in under 4.4 seconds. It also gets some carbon fiber trim upgrades on the interior and exterior.

The BYD Tang Ultimate edition is limited to just 200 examples and is priced at $97,000.
