Chocolate can be an addiction for some, and for good reason—it’s delicious. The world’s most expensive chocolate likely tastes better than any other.

To’ak chocolate costs $260 per 50-gram bar. One of the reasons for hefty cost is that it is made from the cacao of the Arriba cacao tree that is on the verge of extinction. It is not the only reason though, as every bar crafted is meticulously taken through a step-by-step sequence to produce the highest quality chocolate.

Each chocolate bar comes in a wooden box filled with cacao bean husks and is numbered by harvest.

It has taken two years to produce 574 bars of To’ak Chocolate and as of this writing only 218 are left.
