At the behest of a wealthy client, Greenpoint Technologies recently completed its first customized 747-8, Boeing’s largest passenger jet.

This is the first jet of its kind to be outfitted for personal use. The Boeing 747-8 has a cabin width of 20 feet and normally houses 450 passengers, but the interior of this private Boeing 747-8 has been customized with dining rooms, a lounge area, a master bedroom, an office, and a guest bedroom.

Work on the private jet wrapped up in December. It took three years to complete.

A regular Boeing 747-8 costs $358 million. The customization work is estimated to have cost around $250 million.
