French Automaker Renault is celebrating its 60th anniversary by showing off the Alpine Vision GT, a concept car that uses the latest developments in auto engineering.
“The designers and engineers involved in this project were tasked with creating a car that expresses the spirit of our brand. Alpine’s genes are immediately visible in its styling, while its performance won’t disappoint either when players get behind the wheel, or their dualshock playstation controller. They will find the same agility that helped to forge the legend of the original cars produced by alpine founder Jean Rédélé,” Bernard Ollivier, CEO of Alpine, said.
The car is crafted from carbon monocoque and is designed to be as areodynamic as possible with its V-shape and large air intakes. The car will be available in multiple color options including blue and orange, white and blue, and matte black.
Renault showed off a full-scale prototype at the Festival Automobile International in Paris and are currently toying with the idea of turning the Vision GT into a reality.
The car will be featured in the upcoming video game Grand Turismo 6.
