Stir has released its most affordable smart desk yet: The $2,990 M1.
Previous reiterations of the Stir Smart Desk cost upwards of $4,000. That is a pretty hefty price cut. The desk still manages to squeeze in some pretty impressive specs.
The M1 does all the same things its more expensive counterpart does and even gets a few upgrades. It has a 5-inch touchscreen, which is nearly an inch bigger. The processor also got an upgrade. Other features include a fitness tracker, automatic log in that activates by simply getting close to the desk, and cloud storage.
The big difference between the M1 and its counterpart are the looks. The M1 has a curved design, while its counterpart has a more classical boxy shape. The M1 is about 30 by 60 inches, offering plenty of work space without taking up too much room.
The M1 is available in two colors (black and white). The M1 begins shipping in about a month.
