The Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Moment has a lot of notable features, as is the case with any Bang & Olufsen product, but it is the touchscreen wood interface that is perhaps the highlight here.

“As a modern, cloud based music system, BeoSound Moment will offer software updates with new features and improvements. We have prepared a firm software update roadmap for BeoSound Moment including the deployment of a very compelling multi-room experience that encompasses both television and other audio products planned for summer 2015.” Marie Kristine Schmidt, vice president of brand, design, and marketing for Bang & Olufsen, said.

Partnering with design studio Frackenpohl Poulheim, the BeoSound Moment has a wood surface with a “moodwheel” that allows users to adjust their mood and then finds music based on that via Deezer. With access to over 35 million songs, BeoSound Moment will find a song to fit your life at a particular moment.

The BeoSound Moment also memorizes preferences and will suggest music and radio programs based on the time of day and the day of the week.

Pricing detail are expected to be released as we near the summer 2015 production date.
