Montblanc has introduced a watch that comes with what is essentially a smart strap called “The Timewalker Urban Speed E-strap.”

The strap works as a fitness tracker and has its own OLED touchscreen, so it technically turns the watch into a smartwatch. The fitness tracker will have many of the same features that most other fitness trackers have such as keeping track of your calories, distance, and steps.

Through an app, the smart strap connects with your smartphone to give you more detailed information on your health. In addition, you can look at the strap’s screen to see if you have any alerts on your phone such as text messages or incoming calls. The Timewalker Urban Speed E-strap can also be used to control the music on your phone and change other settings.

The strap works with Bluetooth technology and has a lithium-ion battery that will power the device for five days before needing to be recharged.

The Timewalker Urban Speed E-strap will be available with three new watches. It is also available on its own for $423.
