Making its official debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is one of Cadillac’s most impressive vehicles to debut in recent memory.
Packing a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 tuned to 640 horspower, the CTS-V will top out at 200 mph and go 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds. Those specs mean that this car is the most powerful Cadillac to ever hit the market.
Also under the wood, Cadillac upgraded the CTS-V with an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo performance brakes for stopping on a dime, and an upgraded suspension system.
Aesthetically, the CTS-V has 19-inch wheels with wide fenders, a vented carbon-fiber hood, and a redesigned front and rear to give the car a sleeker look compared to its predecessor.
While the car’s power and new design are more akin to a sports car, the interior still features all the luxuries one expects from Cadillac. Leather trim, heated seats, a 12.3 inch display screen, wireless phone charger, and built-in Wi-Fi are just a few of the features found on the inside.
Pricing detail are expected to be released as we approach the Detroit Auto Show. However, the current CTS-V model sells for around $75,000.
