BMW will completely unveil its plans to update both the 6-Series and the M6 at the Detroit Motor Show in the early part of 2015. Luckily, they have begun to leak some information on both vehicles.
The 6-Series looks as though it will be getting a slight redesign on the outside with the front end getting a sleek upgrade. In addition, the new 6-Series will now come with full-LED headlights, a new style of wheels, and a downsized grille. The 6-Series will have a variety of metallic color options like blue, silver, red, and other variations.
The interior changes are a bit harder to spot. Some black trim now goes around the consoles and LED lightening now comes standard in some of the interior lights. Under the hood, the 6-Series will not see a change.
The M6 has been similarly revised. It also has some slight body modifications to give the car a cleaner look, standard LED headlights, and a redesigned grille. It will have the same color options as the 6-Series.
The interior has some more noticeable upgrades with a new “Brown Wood” trim and the addition of more leather.
The M6 also received no changes under the hood. It will pack the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8.
