Three-time Golden Globe nominee and Legendary Hollywood A-lister, Burt Reynolds, has cut the price of his Tequesta, Fla. home to $4.9 million.
Reynolds listed the house about three years ago with an asking price of $9 million, meaning it is now listed at nearly half the price.
The home was built in the actor’s heyday, 1975, and its architecture and interior design reflect the luxuries of the ‘70s.
The 12,527-square-foot home has five 16-by-16-feet bedrooms and seven bathrooms and features mirrored walls and metal artwork incorporated into the interior design. Large windows and sliding glass doors allow natural light to flood into the home. The house also has a gym, home theater, and a game room.
On the exterior, you will find a patio that leads to a swimming pool with a nearby gazebo. There is also access to boat docks and a helipad on the property.
Reynold’s is also auctioning off his art collection and some of his movie memorabilia that spans his 50-year career.
Reynold’s auctioning off some of his belongings and selling one of his homes has spurned rumors that the actor is experiencing financial troubles, but Reynold’s says he is simply getting rid of memorabilia he does “not have use nor room for.”
We think the house would have a better chance if it was staged and photographed professionally.
