What happens when you put together great talent in the luxury car business? ARES happens.

ARES is a Modena-based company that customizes high-end luxury vehicles. Founded by Dany Bahar, ex-Ferrari vice president and former Lotus CEO, and made up of a design and technical team from Ferrari, Lotus, Pininfarina, and AMG, this is a group of people who know what they are doing.

“People have different needs and tastes.“ says Head Designer Mihai Panaitescu. “We create products that are perfectly tailored to fit our clients.”

ARES utilizes its team’s collective knowledge of German engineering and Italian luxury to create custom cars designed specifically for individual customers.

“We want to offer our client the best possible product” Dany Bahar, said. “Before ARES became a reality, we looked at the market, were able to determine what was missing and created this unique automotive atelier concept. It made us think of Savile Row, suits and haute couture as a whole. ARES can offer anything: a shirt, its buttons or a full custom made outfit.”

ARES currently offers modified cars from brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, and Range Rover. They are not limiting themselves to just customizing other luxury brands cars, however.

“There are a lot of new cars and new ideas that we already have in the pipeline and ARES is also looking forward to build its own cars in the future,” says Chief Technical Consultant Wolf Zimmermann.
