After months of speculation, the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 was finally revealed at the 2014 Las Angeles Motor Show.
The 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 is based on the S-Class but the wheelbase is stretched out along with a few other changes, including the rear window being shortened. Slight grille, exhaust, and accent upgrades have been made. The wheels were enlarged to 20 inches, and the body is a bit more angular.
On the inside is where the Mercedes-Maybach S600 really sets itself apart. Extended head room, reclining handcrafted seats, an Air-Balance perfume pack, tons of legroom, and heated or cooled cup holders are among the interior upgrades. On the dashboard is an IWC-designed clock and some of the trim is adorned in silver from Robbe & Berking.
The 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 is packing a 6.0-liter V12 engine that pumps out 523 horses. It has a seven-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in just five seconds. The car tops out at 155 MPH.
The car will go on sale in February of next year. Prices are expected to start around $250,000.
