Sennheiser has teamed up with Singapore’s SUP Clothing to launch a collection of headphones designed to appeal to a street fashion sense and promises to offer a musical experience like the chest-thumping bass heard at clubs in the form of on-the-go headphones.
“Sennheiser Urbanite headphones are for the generation of Millennials who know more and demand more,” Tim Voelker, Director Sales and Marketing Consumer, Sennheiser Communications A/S, said. “They love their tunes heavy and love to look good, but are smart consumers who won’t compromise on quality. They want bass but want it done right. The Sennheiser Urbanite is answering these demands.”
The on-ear Urbanite and the over-ear Urbanite XL both promise to offer “the most intense sound pleasure” by maximizing the bass while still allowing the rest of the frequencies that pour through the headphones to come out crisp and clear.
The Urbanite comes with a detachable cable with a three-button remote control and a microphone so you can use the headphones to make calls without having to unplug them from your smartphone.
Keep your eyes out for Sennheiser and SUP Clothing’s six-week social media campaign that is going on now where the two companies will be giving away street-style outfits as well as Urbanite headphones.
The Urbanite costs around $199, while the Urbanite XL costs $249.95.
