China Airlines’ new Boeing 777-300 ER features a first – and business-class section that is the epitome of luxury flight.
The seats convert into a sofa for relaxing while sipping on coffee from the coffee saloon or an alcoholic beverage from the cocktail bar located in the mid-area of the plane. If you are looking for something less social, there are bookshelves filled with critically-acclaimed Chinese and English literature as well as 18-inch televisions.
Passengers in economy class also get in on the luxury with a raisable footrest that converts their seat into a sofa of sorts. The Taiwanese airline is calling it Asia’s First Family Couch.
The plane is schedule to begin making trips to Los Angeles in December with flights in and out of New York and San Francisco coming next year.
