Part of the experience of flying is enjoying the view, however, those views are few and far in between. More often than not, if you have a coveted window seat, the majority of your time is spent staring at dull clouds.

IXION has come up with a windowless jet concept. Instead of windows offering views of clouds, the windows are replaced by big screens that display 360-degree views of the plane’s surroundings. The views will be brought to passengers by a high quality camera on the plane’s fuselage.

If the plane’s surroundings are a little dull, the screens can display other preset scenes such as an outer space view, a city skyline, or other such interesting environments.
