Aston Martin got the world excited when they showed off some design sketches for the Lagonda a couple of years ago. Now those sketches have turned into an actual vehicle that is entering a limited production exclusively for the Middle East.
Based on the original 1976 Lagonda, this updated version packs a 6-liter V12 engine.
“This is the first car in the last 25 years to wear the Lagonda badge,” Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s design director, said. “But we plan on producing more vehicles under the Lagonda name.”
An official price tag and release date have yet to be set and Aston Martin is secretive on the details, but the price is rumored to be set around half-a-million dollars.
